HOME OF NAMADGI NP

Namadgi National Park – Namadgi National Park offers pockets of challenging 4WD tracks that lead to secluded campsites. One such location is Yankee Hat Spur Campground, which requires a high clearance vehicle and decent off-road driving experience. The reward is a stunning and remote location ideal for those seeking a true off-grid experience. Remember, permits are required for camping in Namadgi National Park, so plan ahead.

Bimberi Wilderness – The Bimberi Wilderness on the ACT’s border with NSW offers a true wilderness adventure. Permits are needed for vehicle access, and some of the tracks require advanced off-road driving skills and a well-equipped 4WD vehicle. The rewards are pristine natural beauty, diverse wildlife, and a true sense of remoteness.

Brindabella National Park – The Brindabella National Park and campgrounds offer a scenic escape near the Goodradigbee River. This location is ideal for experienced 4WDrivers as the surrounding tracks range from moderate to challenging. After a day of tackling the trails, campers can relax by the creek, go for a spot of fly-fishing, or simply soak in the tranquility of the surroundings. Keep in mind that you’ll need to BYO drinking water as there are no taps available at the campground.
